Three PAYG SIM not working

If you have got a Three PAYG SIM (24Gb for 24months) and you find it is not working on your PAYAZ device, we would recommend a few things:

  • If you have had one of our older sims and you find that the Three sim is not connecting, you may have to remove the Access Point Name (Pkp18-inet)

To remove an APN: Navigate through settings - Network and internet - SIMs or Mobile network settings (depending on your device) - Access Point Names at the bottom - select Pkp18-inet - tap the 3 dots at the top right and delete. Then restart the tablet.

  • When you put the SIM into your device, we recommend that you restart the device, as this will help to trigger the sim

  • One thing to think about is the location of the device. In older church buildings, walls can be thicker, and this can have an effect on the signal. We suggest moving the device to another location, and beside a window is a good idea.

  • If you find that this does not help, it is worth taking the device to another location, such as someone's house, to see if it works in another part of the town, as this helps to know if it is the signal around where the device is that is affecting. You can always check the signal in your area by going to the following link and entering your postcode: https://www.ofcom.org.uk/mobile-coverage-checker
