That’s why we want to let you know about some upcoming changes to our SIM cards.
What’s Changing?
- We are starting to phase out our current SIM cards for several reasons.
- Annual subscriptions: Your current SIM will remain active until the end of your existing 12-month period, after which it will be deactivated.
- Monthly subscriptions: If you pay monthly, your SIM will continue to work as normal until 2026 or until you choose to cancel it before then.
We have WIFI now! Do I still need a sim?
No. If you have WIFI you no longer need a sim. Payaz devices are designed to work on Wi-Fi and do not require a SIM card if Wi-Fi is available. If Wi-Fi is not available, you will need to use a SIM card to access the internet.
All our devices are unlocked and compatible with any network SIM. We do offer a selection of SIM cards for your convenience, but there is no requirement to purchase these from Payaz.
Are the new Sims paid monthly or one-time cost?
Below you will see the options for the sims that we will offer. They are all a one-off cost for either 12 months or 24 months of data. They can be topped up at any time, and these instructions will come with your sim card.
How do I top up the sim and will it last longer than 12-24 months?
Instructions will be sent with the new SIMs on how you can top them up if needed. The sims will last for either 12-24 months and can be extended buy adding on more credit every 12 or 24 months to extend the sims length.
Is 12 or 24 Gb really enough?
We find that most devices use between 500mb to 1Gb per month, so 12-24Gb of Data should be enough. If you find you are going over this, you have the option to top up.
