Firstly, reset the tablet Bluetooth. This is done be going to Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset WiFi, Mobile & Bluetooth.
Next the SumUp can be reset by disconnecting from power supply, turning off and then turn back on and hold button until reset instruction appears. Release the button when prompted. A few seconds later the card reader should 'beep' to confirm reset.
Finally, only try connecting the card reader through the app. Many customers try to 'pair' through the tablet and this can also cause issues.
