My SumUp isn't connecting to my tablet

There are a few steps that we can recommend if you're having some trouble with connecting your SumUp to the device.


Firstly, reset the tablet Bluetooth. This is done be going to Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset WiFi, Mobile & Bluetooth. 


Next the SumUp can be reset by disconnecting from power supply, turning off and then turn back on and hold button until reset instruction appears. Release the button when prompted. A few seconds later the card reader should 'beep' to confirm reset.


Also, Give a little have advised us that if you have the SumUp app installed on the GivingStation it should be removed as it can clash with GAL. It doesn't come installed as standard so you will only have it if you have installed your self. 


Finally, only try connecting the Air reader through the app. Many customers try to 'pair' through the tablet and this can also cause issues. 


If after following these steps you are still unable to connect your SumUp, please get in touch with ourselves and we will investigate further for you
